Every now and then go away, have a little relaxation, for when you come back to your work your judgment will be surer. Go some distance away because then the work appears smaller and more of it can be taken in at a glance and a lack of harmony and proportion is more readily seen.

Choosing the right name is a creative process which one can easily get lost in. That is even more true if you don't have a clear idea about what you would like it to communicate to people. One should never be afraid to try out something new and different, whether it is a new way of thinking or a new programming language. For Ruby on Rails you could say it's both. And in a good way, too. I'm coming from a .Net developers camp myself and all I can say after playing with RoR for a while is - it's a real gem. It would be a shame not to invest some of your precious time to learn it.
